Kiran started playing tennis at the age of 5 in Dobbs Ferry, NY and was initially inspired by his mother. His father, a former professional player and renowned coach, helped shape Kiran as a player. Kiran was a top-ranked junior in the Eastern section and won the New York State Doubles title. He then went on to play Division I college tennis at the University of North Carolina Greensboro and subsequently at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Kiran also trained in Thailand with former Junior Wimbledon Champions under the legendary Coach Chuck Kriese. He admires Marat Safin for his on-court artistry and shot-making. Kiran enjoys preparing players for tournament play and seeing the human body do the impossible on the court.
